Forest Hall Juniors F.C.

Monthly Number Draw

Dear Parents/Family & Friends

We at Forest Hall Juniors take our roles very seriously in obtaining the best we can for all those concerned. We are currently aiming to raise as much money as possible to further develop the clubhouse e.g. Build a new one etc.

In doing so one of the projects we have started is a monthly number draw, this has proven to be very successful in 2007.
Anyone who wishes to take a number can do so by seeing their child’s coach/manager who will forward this to the relevant people.

FOREST HALL JUNIORS CELEBRATE FOOTBALL FUNDING SUCCESS

Footballers in Forest Hall were celebrating today following a £8,871 award by the Football Foundation, the UK’s largest sports charity.

The cash bonanza will allow Forest Hall Juniors Football Club to develop new football teams. These teams include a mini-soccer team at under 8’s age-group and two girls teams; one at under 10’s and one at under 12’s age-groups.

The Football Foundation is dedicated to revitalising the grass roots of the game, constructing modern football facilities, developing football as a force for social cohesion and as a vehicle for education in communities throughout the country. Funded by the FA Premier League, The Football Association, Sport England and the Government, the Football Foundation is the nation’s largest sports charity with a £45m budget going straight into the heart of football.

Paul Thorogood, Chief Executive of the Football Foundation said:

“We warmly congratulate the club and Northumberland County FA for their hard work and dedication in securing this award.

“Grass roots football is the lifeblood of the game in this country which is why is vital that projects such as this now have the benefit of Foundation cash.”

PENNIES FOR PITCHES

Dear All
Forest Hall Juniors are trying to raise £30,000 to help pay for a new state of the art building & general update to the ground.
Amongst other things we have planned is a “Pennies for Pitches” Campaign.
How does this work ???
Simply collect all 1p’s in a bottle, jar, bag or anything handy, pass the pennies to your manager for them to bring to the end of the month meeting which is the last Tuesday of every month, this will then go into the bank. There is a chart in the clubhouse showing the progress we are making which will be updated every month.
It’s as simple as that.
Anyone wishing to donate or have any ideas for this fantastic cause please email or phone any of the available numbers on the website.
